Crane safety refers to the management of all operations and events within an industry in order to protect its employees and assets by minimizing hazards, risks, accidents, and near misses.
Nowardays,More and more companies take great importance to crane safety, some are aimed at crane operator training, and some companies learn more about new OSHA crane safety rules,OSHA crane standard...so,“crane and hoist safety” ,“overhead crane safety ”,“safety and heath topics ”or “safer opreation of cranes” ,the search for these words is increasing.
Take overhead crane as an example,a former OSHA inspector once said
For a new crane ,initial inspections need to be done.when we use it,please check regular.Frequent inspections are required every day, such as inspection of operating mechanisms, inspection of piping, mailboxes, valves and drain pumps, and hydraulic systems, and see if the hooks are deformed or cracked and recorded accordingly. Regular inspections require the search for deformed or loose screws, as well as worn pulleys and rollers, such as bearings, gears, wheels, rollers, and timely replacement of damaged parts is one of the effective ways to ensure crane safety.
