Our Traffic Barriers are specially designed to protect people, machines, buildings and infrastructure against collisions with forklift trucks or other (heavy duty) vehicles. Flexible rails absorb the forklift hit and flex back to shape, reducing damage to guardrails, the floor and the forklift. They dissipate impact energies, protect your business and last for the long term.

PROBLEM:

Warehouse operators typically use steel barriers to protect their assets and infrastructure. Operators driving forklifts inevitably hit these barriers with regularity. Steel barriers require regular maintenance and repair after getting hit to maintain functionality. If hit hard enough, forklifts make replacement of the steel guard rails likely but also damage the floors they are bolted to, driving costs and downtime up.

SOLUTION:

TOPTREE safety barriers save you up to five repairs (to the barrier, vehicle, floor, equipment / infrastructure and your people) because their rails flex to absorb impact then rebound back to their original position for continued protection. This significantly reduces the chance of floor damage during a collision. Metal guard rails will deflect impacts and shield what is behind them at the expense of the forklift and the guard rail itself, requiring repair or replacement to both almost every time they are hit.
